You've seen many text scrollers, but you probably haven't seen many 3D text scrollers. This applet's configurable, and comes with several examples using different parameters.
Usage: Download scroll3D.zip which contains class files, image files, and example HTML files, and unzip it into one directory.
The applet is free to use on your site, but $25 gets you a registered version which does not say "Unregistered 3D Scroll" when a mouse is over the applet.
