Updated 1/26/99 The free TypeIt Applet acts much like a typewriter on screen, the text you specify in the HTML-code pops up one character at a time. It takes it parameters (such as the text to display, the color, what page to link to when clicked, background color, highlight color, speed, and now font face and style) from the HTML code. The applet has been rewritten to be Java 1.0 compatible, so that you don't need a 1.1 compatible browser to see the applet The second applet above is a Java 1.1 enhanced version, which makes it possible to use multiple links which will result in a popup-menu where the user can choose where to go.
Usage: For TypeIt (1), download TypeIt.class and place it within your HTML directory. For TypeIt2, download TypeIt2.class and TypeIt2$1.class, and place them within your HTML directory.
